Harold Berrier

Member of the Paris Bar and Partner at YDES.

Harold started his career as an associate at August Debouzy, a leading French firm that focuses primarily on international business. Later on, he co-founded and co-managed a boutique firm specializing in employment law: KATZ MENARD BERRIER AVOCATS. In 2020, he joined YDES, a multi-service law firm offering an extensive coverage of the French territory through its four offices.

He advises French and foreign clients on a daily basis in all aspects of French employment law and human resources management. He also provides legal support in all kinds of transactions (M&A, transfer of undertakings…) and restructuring processes (redundancies…).

For more than 20 years, Harold has advised Japanese clients in various business sectors, such as the manufacturing and sale of printing presses, the pharmaceutical industry or the wet and dry coating industry, to quote only a few.

He works closely with the teams of Komon Avocats, with whom he shares a common attraction to Japan.

A seasoned litigator, Harold’s expertise is particularly sought by clients involved in high-stakes employment cases.
